20 Random Things
1. I find satisfaction in crunching leaves with my shoes. When I think no one is looking, I go out of my way to stomp around on them.
2. I was a faithful user of Bonnie Bell lip smackers for many years. I finally moved on because I thought 25 was a little bit past the age of sparkly chapstick. Secretly, I still think it’s the best
3. I recently learned how to carve. I almost broke my butt doing it, but now I can go snowboarding with the big kids!
4. One of my goals this year is to run a half marathon or a marathon.
5. Another one of my goals is to read the Bible more often.
6. My best dancing happens alone in my room.
7. When I was younger, I thought “rainbow” was actually “raimbow.” When someone corrected me, it was like my whole world shifted. “Rainbow” makes so much more sense.
8. During my teens, I was all about Mariah Carey (pre-hoochie mama days). I can sing along to almost all her songs from Daydream and Rainbow.
9. “All I Want for Christmas is You” (by MC) is my all-time favorite Christmas song.
10. I used to be madly in love with Kobe Bryant (pre-cheating on the wifey). At the peak of my crush, I saw him in real life walking around South Coast Plaza. I didn’t get his autograph because I didn’t want to appear an overzealous fan. Biggest mistake ever.
11. I think reading is delicious.
12. I think a good sense of humor is sexy.
13. The highlight of my work day is when my co-worker Tiffany and I take a break to play volleyball outside
14. Oh - also, I like seeing students. Hehe.
15. When I was younger, my dream job was to be a high school counselor.
16. I’m currently a college counselor. Pretty close. I feel so lucky - I love my work.
17. If I didn’t have to work, I would spend my days traveling the world, taking classes (photography, salsa, ceramics, painting) and philanthropizing.
18. I’ll know I’ve truly made it when I get a house with a library – not unlike like the one Beast presented to Belle (hey, nothing wrong with ambition).
19. I love my siblings to pieces. My sister is like my protégé (but better) so naturally I think she’s fantastic and my brother cracks me up.
20. My ideal day would include: delicious food, a good book, volleyball
